The Top Antivirus: ESET NOD32 still wins

I have, in many tests of my own, found that ESET NOD32 is the best anti-malware, particularly anti-viral software, to have. I noted its defensive characteristics in many tests of my own (See here and here), emphasizing on being able to catch viruses without deliberately needing to ask for a scan.

Apparently, the experts agree. In the latest pro-active (heuristics) tests by AV-Comparatives, NOD32 is the only software to hit top tier: an Advanced+ rating.

I will continue to monitor the array of anti-malware software around and keep you updated on the best there is.

Current choice: ESET NOD32.
