Classically, politics and technology are not related. Why should they be? They are two separate domains!

Or are they?

Maybe, not anymore. And none more so during elections. Large country or small, honest or corrupt, tech influences the elections amazingly.

Take the USA, for example. How else does a simple error made by any one of the hopefuls get buzzed around the world? How else does the entry or exit of a candidate change the whole scenario?

And vote counting… Think about how much less furor there would be in one of these “forced” democratic countries where other parties call foul on rigged elections if technology were used - or sometimes, less used!

Oh, well, that was just a rant, I suppose…
